Therapy Modalities

Therapeutic Tools to Nurture the Whole You

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a practical, goal-oriented approach that focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge them, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. CBT is especially effective for anxiety, depression, and stress management, providing tools that can apply in everyday life.

Person-Centered
Therapy

Rooted in empathy and unconditional positive regard, person-centered therapy puts you at the center of the healing process. Rather than directing or diagnosing, I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you are deeply heard and respected. This approach encourages self-exploration, builds self-trust, and honors your natural capacity for growth and change.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

A trauma-informed approach recognizes the impact that trauma, (whether from a single event or prolonged experiences) can have on your mind and body. This type of therapy prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment. It supports you in understanding how trauma affects your nervous system, relationships, and emotions, while helping you build tools for healing at your own pace.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy focuses on the mind-body connection, recognizing that emotional experiences often live in the body. By tuning into physical sensations, movement, and breath, this approach helps release stored tension, increase regulation, and restore a sense of safety in your body. It can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress, offering a path to healing that goes beyond words.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapy emphasizes being present in the moment with curiosity and compassion. It helps slow down, notice thoughts and feelings without judgment, and respond more thoughtfully rather than react automatically. This approach is effective for managing anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm, and can help cultivate a greater sense of inner peace and self-awareness.
